Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Controls Project Manager to oversee the execution of DDC control system projects within commercial environments. Your project management expertise, controls engineering knowledge, and leadership skills will be vital in delivering top-notch building automation solutions.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on project documentation and designs.
  • Manage project timelines and provide updates to the project management team.
  • Regularly assess and report on project progress to senior management.
  • Maintain and organize project contract documents.
  • Handle project submissions and approvals efficiently.
  • Identify and address potential issues proactively, communicating impacts to project coordinators.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of material orders in collaboration with project coordinators.
  • Supervise subcontractor installations and resolve any challenges.
  • Provide guidance and support to the project team.
  • Test and configure system databases, oversee commissioning, and manage project closure.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and contractors.
  • Prioritize safety and adhere to company safety standards.
  • Conduct maintenance, site surveys, and modifications as necessary.
  • Stay informed on product information related to installation and maintenance.
  • Offer technical support and training to clients.
  • Assist technicians and contribute to their training and qualifications.
  • Be available for occasional after-hours and weekend shifts.
  • Travel to various job sites as required.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in BAS/BMS or HVAC Controls project management.
  • Experience in project estimation.
  • Familiarity with BAS/BMS platforms such as Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Automated Logic, Delta Controls, Distech, or Trane.
  • Technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including AHUs, VAVs, boilers, and chillers.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Tridium Niagara.
  • Familiarity with Schneider Electric systems.
  • Programming experience.
