About the Role

Kamatics Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Machinist V to join our team in a CNC Machinist position. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating numerically controlled machine tools to perform complex machining operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup, adjust, troubleshoot, and check out programming for CNC machine tools to perform progressive machining operations.
  • Work from programs, operation sheets, and machine setup instructions to achieve precise tolerances and finish specifications.
  • Self-sufficiency with material clamping methods, machine adjustments/offsets, and console settings.
  • Provide training, setup, tool adjustment, and troubleshooting support to other team members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Machining Certificate is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of GD&T constraints and shop math.
  • Proficiency in setting up CNC machines and troubleshooting basic programming errors.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
