We are seeking a highly skilled Petroleum Service Technician to join our team at Tait & Associates, Inc. As a key member of our environmental compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our clients' fuel storage systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on underground storage tanks (USTs) and aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
- Conduct testing and inspections to identify and document any non-compliant issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and develop customized solutions to meet their fuel system compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with our design and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of our services and delivery of high-quality results.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry best practices to ensure our clients' fuel systems remain compliant and efficient.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the petroleum industry, with a focus on fuel system compliance and maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive up to 1,000 miles per week.
- Self-direction and ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of UST systems and current regulations regarding their proper operation.
- Veeder Root Installer and Technician Certification.
- Experience with tank construction, testing, repair, and regulatory compliance.
