Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parking Lot Attendant to join our team at SP Plus Corporation in Van Nuys, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth parking experience for our customers by directing them to available parking spaces, counting vehicles on location, and issuing violation warnings to tenants and visitors who violate garage policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, directing customers to available parking spaces, and assisting with vehicle retrieval.
  • Parking Management: Ensure that the parking lot is well-maintained, clean, and organized, and that all parking rules and regulations are enforced.
  • Violation Management: Issue warning notices to tenants and visitors who violate parking policies, and report any observed or suspected policy violations to the Facility Manager.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: A valid state-issued driver's license is required, and a clean driving record is necessary if you are expected to drive a company vehicle.
  • Education and Experience: Less than high school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
