About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Urologic Oncologist to join our team at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. As a key member of our academic urologic practice, you will have the opportunity to focus on genitourinary oncologic disease and participate in the development of the Creighton University Urology Residency Program.

Compensation & Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $235.58 - $262.50 per hour. Our benefits package is designed to support your career growth and well-being, including a two-year income guarantee, relocation allowance, CME allowance, and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Patient Care:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care by diagnosing and treating various medical conditions related to genitourinary oncologic disease.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that meet the needs of patients.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories to inform diagnosis and treatment decisions.

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and successful outcomes.
  • Provide clear and concise medical information to patients and families.
  • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

Diagnostic Procedures:

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies, to inform diagnosis and treatment decisions.
  • Perform procedures as needed to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and consultation.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to share knowledge and expertise.
  • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Eligibility & Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have American Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology and a valid and unrestricted state medical license or be license-eligible.
