Aerotek is seeking a skilled Tube Welder to join our team at a large aerospace facility in Los Alamitos, CA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Tube Welder to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating All Stake Welders for Bellows and Components, as well as welding metal thicknesses from.006"-.180".

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate All Stake Welders for Bellows and Components.
  • Weld metal thicknesses from.006"-.180".
  • Develop new welding schedules for welding machines as required by shop management or manufacturing engineering.
  • Direct and advise major maintenance on welding equipment.
  • Identify and correct weld defects according to production standards and/or welding specifications.
  • Perform at acceptable levels of quality and productivity on all welding assignments.
  • Read, identify, and record from blueprints, pick lists, and x-ray numbers for traceability documentation per job requirement.
  • Assist the department in developing techniques to increase productivity, quality, and throughput of products and share job knowledge within the department.
