Maintenance Technician

JET Food Stores of Georgia is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

• Provide support outside normal working hours, if necessary, and provide weekend support on rotation with fellow Maintenance Technicians
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safe work practices
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in a timely manner
• Conduct repairs and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Conduct repairs and maintenance of fuel oil dispensers and related fueling equipment
• Conduct repairs and maintenance of food service equipment
• Conduct repairs and maintenance of structural systems such as roofs, walls, doors, ceilings, etc.

• Possess a valid State driver's license and a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent as well as a Certificate in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration Technology or equivalent credentials
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a HVAC/R technician or in a related field
• EPA Certification in accordance with 40 CFR Part 82
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
• A strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
• Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including man lift, dump trailer, pump trailer, and small hand tools to name a few
• A strong working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and metering devices
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
