This position is responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients across the lifespan as ordered by the attending medical provider.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in respiratory care, with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate various respiratory care modalities within the scope of practice allowed by the Statutes, Rules and Regulations of the State of Nebraska relating to respiratory care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' respiratory needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate various respiratory care modalities, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care practices and technologies
- Graduate of a NBRC-approved program
- RRT credentials with NBRC in NE
- 2 years of recent acute care experience
