Job Description

Capital One is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer, Back End to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems.

You will collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment. You will also utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud). A Master's Degree is preferred, as well as 9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or.
