Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout all dealership areas.
- Perform floor maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
- Service, clean, and stock restroom facilities.
- Polish and maintain furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
- Prepare cleaning solutions by diluting or mixing water with detergents or acids as per specifications.
- Inspect designated areas for repair and cleaning opportunities.
- Notify management of any major repair needs or enhancements to building systems.
- Assist in various tasks within the Facilities department as required.
- Uphold high ethical standards in all actions.
- Maintain a professional appearance, grooming, and hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles is desirable.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools, as well as equipment and materials used in maintenance; capable of reading and interpreting safety rules and operating instructions.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record is required.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:
- Frequent bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching with body and limbs; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
- Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to maneuver in different positions to complete tasks in various environments, including confined spaces.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, whether standing or sitting.
- Operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment as necessary.
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
