Nurse Manager

As a Nurse Manager at SSM Health, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities, workflow, and nursing resources of assigned nursing units. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Conduct hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services.
- Monitor and adhere to budget guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Two years' registered nurse experience with progressive leadership responsibility or one year of registered nurse experience plus one year of relevant leadership experience.
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
