Maintenance Planner

• Plan and Schedule Work: Utilize computerized maintenance management systems or work order systems to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance Teams: Work closely with operations, maintenance personnel, and maintenance manager to plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.
• Spare Parts Inventory Management: Maintain proper spare parts inventory levels for the plant, including critical spare parts, and determine and order needed parts.
• Capital Project Planning: Plan all capital projects and ensure they are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Prepare PM Plans and Schedules: Develop plans and schedules to meet maintenance goals.
• Ensure Scheduled Project Completion: Ensure the completion of scheduled projects and adjust schedules to account for unexpected emergency work.
• Maintenance Consultation and Solution: Provide prompt consultation and solution on maintenance-related problems with operations and maintenance personnel.
• Equipment Development and Installation: Assist with the development, installation, and start-up of equipment.
• Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Assist/oversee the safe maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Equipment Reliability: Ensure the execution of planned maintenance, calibration, repairs, and installation to minimize equipment downtime.
• Technical Functions: Responsible for all technical functions related to design, drafting, calculation, specifications, planning, purchasing of equipment, facilities, and systems.
• Maximize Equipment Reliability: Maximize equipment reliability.
• Maintenance Standards: Work with the team to establish and maintain maintenance standards, including an adequate safety program.
• Capital Project Engineering: Provide engineering design and specification for capital projects.
• Product Quality and Delivery: Ensure that product quality, quantity, delivery, and cost objectives are met as it relates to duties under responsibility.
• Training Programs: Responsible for directing training programs for new equipment.
• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance functions.
• Security and Safety: Responsible for security, plant emergency, and safety procedures and policies.
• Equipment Inspection: Must inspect all under pressure equipment; must repair in compliance with insurance company or government guidelines.

Requirements:

• Education: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Degree.
• Experience: Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
