Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Truck Porter to manage the movement and organization of trucks within our facility. This position involves ensuring that all vehicles are parked appropriately and that the lot remains orderly and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers and assist them in a courteous manner.
  • Relocate trucks among various areas including the display lot, service center, storage, and customer pick-up zones.
  • Operate all trucks with care to prevent any damage and safeguard dealership assets.
  • Maintain an accurate log of all vehicles on the premises.
  • Ensure that both the interiors and exteriors of trucks are kept clean and presentable.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of the parking area.
  • Occasionally drive off-site for dealership errands and to transport customers as needed.
  • Perform basic maintenance duties such as battery changes and fluid top-ups.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possession of a valid chauffeur's license with a clean driving history.
  • Capability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Responsibility for safeguarding customer and dealership property.
  • Openness to learning and undertaking a variety of tasks.
  • Attention to detail in documenting vehicle movements and conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
