Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a PRN (as-needed) Emergency Department Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the overall success of our department.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify and address patient needs.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure seamless patient care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- One year of experience in an emergency department setting, with a focus on high-acuity patient care.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
