Join a leading organization in the aerospace sector as a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Technician. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with a strong background in aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
Compensation: $48.00/hour
Work Schedule:
- Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm
- Weekly Pay with Overtime Opportunities
Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed, up to 100%.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting aviation clients and aircraft manufacturers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft engines.
- Traveling to various locations to provide on-site support for aircraft maintenance.
- Working flexible hours, including evenings and overtime when necessary.
Key Duties:
- Follow work scope instructions from Maintenance Operations Control.
- Disassemble, clean, reassemble, and repair engines and modules efficiently.
- Utilize troubleshooting techniques to identify and rectify defects in components.
- Access and interpret engine data materials such as AMM, EMM, IPC, etc.
- Understand and apply Service Bulletins, FAA Advisory Directives, and Technical Variances as required.
- Maintain repair station inspection approval.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate degree with at least 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Possession of an FAA Airframe & Power Plant License.
- Must successfully complete a FAA/DOT pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with gas turbine engines.
- Background in customer relations.
- Familiarity with engine or aircraft logbooks.
- Experience in a FAR145 repair station.
- Ability to take on leadership responsibilities as directed.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
