Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist to join our Inpatient Unit team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide top-notch behavioral health care to patients in a dynamic and innovative clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

Provides direct patient care in a behavioral health setting, implementing counseling and therapy for assigned patients in individual and group settings.
Interviews and assesses patients and/or their family, caregivers, and/or legal representatives to determine their needs and develop effective care plans.
Collaborates with other members of the care team to ensure seamless patient care and coordinates discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to community-based resources.
Participates in case reviews and care conferences to evaluate patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed Addiction Counselor (ACD), or other licensure/certification approved by department leadership.
