White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC is seeking a skilled Rebar Fabricator to join our team. As a Rebar Fabricator, you will be responsible for manufacturing customized products that meet customer specifications and preparing completed orders for shipment.
Key Responsibilities- Examine customer specifications using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
- Fabricate work pieces as determined by work order specifications, retrieving correct materials and performing various fabrication duties.
- Examine work pieces visually, by touch, or using tape rules, calipers, or gauges to ensure products meet desired standards.
- Packaging and shipping of completed orders, including the installation of protective devices to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction.
- Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor.
- Exercises limited latitude/independent judgment under close supervision.
- Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior coworker and/or supervisor.
The Rebar Fabricator will typically be located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
Education and Experience- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
- Ability to work outdoors and read a tape measure.
