Position Overview:
As a key member of Nightwing, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to provide exceptional cybersecurity and intelligence services. Your expertise will be instrumental in assisting government agencies in mitigating cyber threats and ensuring the integrity of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced analytical skills to implement infrastructure solutions that support operational decision-making.
- Assist in the deployment of innovative technologies within a controlled lab environment.
- Evaluate network architecture and device configurations to identify security vulnerabilities and recommend best practices.
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies for lab operations.
- Provide technical support for Virtual Private Networks (VPN) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to end-users.
- Support users on MacOS and iOS platforms, addressing technical challenges and inquiries.
- Monitor IT helpdesk channels, responding to user requests and managing account credentials.
- Implement granular access controls and oversee system performance and security measures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage issues across enterprise environments, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required; TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in system administration.
- Proficiency in multiple operating systems, including Linux/Unix and MacOS.
- Solid understanding of networking principles and administration.
- Experience with VPN technologies and virtual desktop solutions (e.g., Citrix, VMWare).
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools such as ELK and Splunk.
- Knowledge of virtualization automation and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Jamf Pro, DEP, and Enterprise Connect implementations.
- Experience in drafting technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field is required; alternatively, a high school diploma with 7+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
