Welcome to Sunset Montessori School, a well-established institution affiliated with a long-standing nonprofit organization dedicated to hearing and speech services.

Our educational program adheres to Montessori principles, and we are in search of committed educators to enhance and expand our offerings. The school environment is inviting, featuring small class sizes and beautiful outdoor spaces for interaction among staff, families, and children.

We are looking for a Montessori Lead Educator who possesses the DCF Director credential and will take on a leadership role within the school.

The Administrator will oversee all educational programming and activities, collaborating with senior management while managing teacher staffing and attracting new families.
This is a full-time position with an annual commitment. The individual will provide high-quality, child-centered education within small teacher-to-child ratios.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Montessori educational environment.

Leadership experience should include at least 5 years in a similar role, along with Montessori teacher certification and experience in a Montessori setting.

Must hold a Director credential from DCF and Montessori certification for either the 0-3 or 3-6 age groups.

Preferred Qualifications:
Department of Education teaching certificate.
Comprehensive understanding and capability to implement all regulatory requirements.
Engagement in parent and staff meetings relevant to the programs served.
Involvement in planning for summer educational programs.
Commitment to this position throughout the year.
