TRB and Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permit Technician to join our Building and Safety Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing applications and construction documents for completeness and compliance with requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the plan checking process, ensuring all necessary documentation and reviews are completed.
- Prepare and issue permits in compliance with current Building Department standards.
- Perform various administrative, reporting, and billing tasks.
- Establish and maintain good working relations with the public, development community, and city staff.
- Manage a wide range of duties in an effective manner, including timely plan processing and coordination with discipline managers.
Requirements:
- ICC Permit Technician Certification
- High School Diploma, GED
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred:
- One-year Permit Technician Experience in a Municipality
