Position Overview:

In this role, you will collaborate with the Training Manager and Lead Trainer to coordinate training schedules for new hires and returning staff, ensuring all mandatory training and continuing education events are organized effectively.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Adjusting training schedules as necessary and maintaining communication with employees and management regarding training plans.
  • Mentoring and guiding developing trainers to enhance the ski and snowboard training team.
  • Leading indoor training sessions, including new hire orientations and ongoing education.
  • Monitoring and documenting training programs for ski and snowboard school staff.
  • Ensuring the safety of training groups by adhering to the skier and rider responsibility code.
  • Providing immediate, constructive feedback to participants in training clinics.
  • Delivering quality ski and snowboard lessons during peak business periods.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Current PSIA/AASI Level 3 or equivalent certification
  • Three to six months of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • A minimum of three years as a full-time instructor at a recognized ski and snowboard school
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
