Job Opportunity for Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at ProCare Therapy. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of students with special needs.
  • Adapt and modify the general education curriculum to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for students with disabilities.
  • Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and other professionals to create effective educational plans that meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Special Education teaching certification in the state.
  • Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
