Job Summary:

This role involves performing routine tasks such as troubleshooting, replacing, and repairing military simulator components. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of higher-level technicians and will be required to build, fabricate, and repair wooden targets for range operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on military simulator components
  • Build, fabricate, and repair wooden targets for range operations
  • Conduct ground maintenance activities including cutting grass, ground clearance, and other outdoor tasks
  • Apply basic technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining and solving equipment malfunctions
  • Capture and record accurate and timely maintenance history using the AWARE Management Information System (MIS)
  • Share maintenance issues and general operations updates with senior technicians
  • Safeguard all assigned equipment issued by PULAU Corporation against loss, theft, and damage
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have 2+ years of experience as an Electronics Technician or related position. Previous experience working with repairing military computer-based simulation devices or related equipment is preferred.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and lift a maximum of 50 pounds
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to read and understand manufacturers' manuals or technical documents
  • Must be able to work outside including in inclement weather
  • Must be able to acquire a Government Common Access Card (CAC) for access to other installations
  • Must be able to travel on temporary duty to other installations Including OCONUS
  • Must be able to work occasional shift, night, weekend, or holiday hours in support of military training
Estimated Salary: $27.24 per hourBenefits:
