About the Role:
As a Floor Care Specialist at UG2, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to floor care, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping, as well as cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and other high-touch areas.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs are essential tasks in this role.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
  • Restocking supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain a well-stocked and organized facility.
  • Emptying all trash cans and replacing liners, cleaning receptacles as necessary to prevent odors and pests.
  • Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered to maintain a professional work environment.
  • Cleaning windowsills and windows to ensure natural light and visibility.
  • Maintaining janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner to ensure easy access to cleaning supplies.
  • Maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient cleaning processes.
  • Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to protect against chemical exposure and other hazards.

  • Engaging with leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Interacting with customers, visitors, and clients to provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Collaborating with other employees to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of six months of related customer service and/or facility services experience.
  • A valid driver's license is a plus, but not required.
  • Floor care experience is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Good client/customer service skills are crucial for building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively is critical in this fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account the cost of living in major cities across the United States.
