Role Overview
Are you an experienced professional with at least 5 years in managing auto liability or commercial general liability claims? If you are looking for a workplace that prioritizes work/life balance, we have an opportunity for you in our office-based Commercial Litigation Claims Specialist role.

This position involves overseeing claims across various state operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect evidence and document claims details.
- Assess the value of damaged items.
- Clarify and communicate insurance policy coverage to clients and third parties.
- Negotiate settlements with clients or third parties.
- Resolve claims, which may involve approving or denying claims.
- Engage with clients, medical professionals, attorneys, contractors, and others to ensure claims are settled promptly, fairly, and courteously.

Occasionally, you may also defend policyholders in court, negotiate settlements, or recover outstanding amounts. Experience in personal injury litigation is emphasized. While direct supervision of others is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Minimum Qualifications
- A four-year degree in a business-related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in handling commercial claims, specifically in auto or general liability.
- Progress towards or completion of formal insurance industry designations is preferred.
- Strong analytical, computer, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
