Policy Analyst for the Washington Post

The Washington Post is seeking a reporter to cover White House economic policy. This role requires a skilled journalist who can work quickly and accurately, explaining complex policy decisions to a general audience.
Main Tasks
• Cover various agencies within the White House and U.S. Treasury, seeking to understand their roles and impact on economic policy
• Find and break news on Trump's approach to economic policy matters, working closely with other reporters and editors to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Collaborate with data reporters, designers, photo editors, and the video team to create engaging and informative reports
Requirements and Qualifications
• At least five years' experience covering policy in Washington or elsewhere
• Demonstrated ability to work fast and write clearly on deadline
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic and competitive environment
