About the Job

Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services company, is seeking a highly motivated and safety-oriented Machine Operator Technician to join our team in Jeannette, PA.

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires the ability to learn and operate various types of shredding, grinding, and cleaning machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating and maintaining equipment to process waste materials
  • Resolving issues related to day-to-day operations and maintenance
  • Calibrating probes and monitoring the pH of processed waste
  • Reading and understanding work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Cleaning the machine daily in conjunction with the maintenance department
  • Monitoring machine performance and condition, and notifying maintenance of any issues
  • Developing an understanding of OSHA regulations and Triumvirate's Health and Safety Practices
  • Building working relationships with coworkers and demonstrating the ability to be creative and solve unique problems
  • Loading and unloading trailers
  • Wearing required personal protective equipment

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate large precision shop machinery
  • Strong aptitude in problem-solving and process improvement
  • Ability to articulate problems and solutions verbally
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and personal initiative related to problem resolution professionally
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage stressful situations

  • Forklift experience
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Willingness to learn and take direction/criticism positively
