Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.
Job Responsibilities- Provide Emergency Care: Assess and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Diagnose and stabilize patients with life-threatening conditions, and develop effective treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Manage Resources: Prioritize care and utilize resources effectively to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Document Patient Care: Accurately and thoroughly document patient care in the medical record to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Certification: Board certification in emergency, internal, or family medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), the American Board of Family Medicine, or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
- License: Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas.
- Experience: At least one year of experience working in an emergency department setting.
