• Assist in providing a high-quality treatment experience for patients, focusing on welcoming and comforting them to prepare them for physical therapy.

• Follow the plan of care established for the patient by the therapist, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
• Assist therapists with non-clinical tasks and accommodate patients' needs to support their success in therapy.
• Educate patients on equipment usage, ensuring they understand how to use it safely and correctly.
• Assist patients with light exercises and strengthening techniques, promoting their physical well-being.
• Apply therapeutic modalities, such as heat/ice packs and electrical stimulation, under the guidance of licensed therapists.
• Assist patients who need assistance in walking from one area to another, using proper techniques to ensure their safety.
• Maintain 360-degree communication with patients, physicians, staff members, and other stakeholders, including necessary follow-ups.
• Foster a pleasant and professional relationship with patients and fellow staff, promoting a positive work environment.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring they are clean and organized, and all equipment is thoroughly sanitized after each use.
• Comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations, upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
• Maintain a solid level of productivity, observing and recording any progress or changes to the Physical Therapist.
Requirements
• No required education or experience necessary, but a commitment to Team's initiative of making DEI a priority is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ideal candidate pursuing a physical therapist or other healthcare degree.
