We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Catering Assistant to join our team at the IRWIN A AND ROBERT D GOODMAN COMMUNITY CENTER. This role will support our teen workers in the execution of Good Works Community Catering events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Venue Specialists to review catering plans and ensure seamless event execution.
  • Assist with setup, service, and clean-up procedures at catered events.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and Venue Specialists to ensure their needs are met.
  • Adhere to safety, nutrition, food handling, personal hygiene, and sanitation requirements.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in food service.
  • Experience managing or leading teenagers in an educational or vocational setting.
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn new skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and model professional behavior.
