Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Assist with event setup, vehicle maintenance, and teardown, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
  • Classroom Instruction: Present engaging and informative classroom sessions, utilizing whiteboards and PowerPoint presentations to convey complex driving techniques.
  • Risk Management: Recognize and de-escalate high-risk driving situations, prioritizing the safety of our clients and staff.

Requirements:
  • NYS MV-524 Certification: Possess a valid New York State MV-524 Driving School Instructor Certificate issued by the Bureau of Driver Training Programs.
  • Communication Skills: Effectively explain driving methods and theory to a diverse range of clients, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs.
  • Evaluation Skills: Accurately assess driver behavior while observing from the passenger seat or outside the vehicle.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Demonstrate a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the role, including working outdoors and in inclement weather, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
