Key Responsibilities- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their transportation management needs and objectives.
- Tailor and configure SAP TM modules to meet specific client business processes and requirements.
- Assist in the creation of comprehensive transportation management solutions, including Transportation Planning, Freight Order Management, and Carrier Selection.
- Participate in system integration activities such as data migration, interface development, and system testing.
- Provide user training and support during the implementation phase to ensure successful adoption of SAP TM features.
- Diagnose system issues, troubleshoot technical challenges, and provide timely solutions to maintain system performance and stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, technical developers, and business users, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Stay updated on SAP TM enhancements, patches, and best practices to offer proactive recommendations for system improvements.
- Document system configurations, customizations, and support processes to ensure knowledge retention and facilitate future enhancements.
- Support pre-sales activities by sharing expertise in SAP TM functionalities, conducting product demonstrations, and assisting in proposal development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Six to eight years of practical experience with SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) modules.
- Hands-on experience in SAP TM configuration, customization, and implementation.
- Strong understanding of transportation management processes, including route optimization, carrier selection, and freight planning.
- Proficient in SAP TM functionalities such as Transportation Planning, Freight Order Management, and Freight Settlement.
- Familiarity with integration technologies and methods, including SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and IDoc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with clients and project teams.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
- Preferred: SAP TM certification.
