Pediatric Physical Therapist Job Summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality homecare services to pediatric patients. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients with varied diagnoses, developing individualized treatment plans, and administering therapeutic treatments to promote optimal function and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients with varied diagnoses to determine developmental and/or functional status using standardized measures or clinical observations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating patient and family needs.
  • Administer therapeutic treatments to patients with functional deficits to provide optimal function and independence.
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities to follow while at home.
  • Document patient's evaluation results, objective status, progress toward goals, treatment plan, and recommendations in compliance with documentation requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in physical therapy or higher.
  • State of Ohio Licensure.
  • Previous physical therapy work experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
