About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level III NICU setting, with proficiency in neonatal ventilator care. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will be certified in specialty areas such as ACLS and PALS, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, age-specific nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
  • Coordinate care planning with other disciplines to ensure seamless patient transitions.
  • Supervise other members of the healthcare team, ensuring effective delegation and utilization of resources.
  • Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of current Level III NICU experience, including neonatal ventilator care.
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR certification and ACLS certification upon orientation completion.
  • PALS or ENPC certification preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
