We are seeking an experienced Railcar Repairman/Carman to work at our Burnett, TX location. This position involves performing essential inspection and repair functions to prepare railcars for transportation.
Job SummaryThe Railcar Repair and Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for inspecting railcars for serviceability and damage, identifying repairs that can be performed by Road & Rail Services, and notifying management of unserviceable railcars. The successful candidate will also perform authorized repairs to customer and AAR specifications, lubricate railcars, and record all repairs accurately.
Responsibilities- Inspect railcars for serviceability and damage
- Identify repairs that can be performed by Road & Rail Services
- Notify management of unserviceable railcars
- Perform authorized repairs to customer and AAR specifications
- Lubricate railcars and record lubrication date
- Accurately record all repairs
- Assist in the preparation of railcars for transportation
- 4g, 5g, and Stick Welding experience required
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
- Valid state driver's license if required to operate company equipment
- Ability to use hand tools and mechanical equipment

Salary and LocationThe salary for this position is estimated to be between $24.00 and $28.00 per hour, depending on experience. The location of this position is Burnett, TX.
