About the Role:
As an Information Specialist I, you will be responsible for informing the public, scheduling court proceedings, managing case information, and performing related duties requiring knowledge of court processes, customer service skills, and discretion.
Main Responsibilities:
Respond to inquiries from the public, attorneys, and other agencies regarding court information and procedures.Coordinate the scheduling of court proceedings and maintain court calendars for each assigned judge.Audit cases for necessary information.Direct parties to courtrooms and provide counter service.Disseminate information regarding Court policies and procedures to the public at the counter.Assign and notify House Counsel of proceedings.Test case management systems and report issues.Record information in court files and generate court documents.Update account information, including arrearage calculations.Enter and update data in court computer systems.Initiate inquiries to appropriate departments.Maintain daily statistical data.Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
A high school graduation or its equivalent.Two years of clerical experience.Experience using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and relevant software and systems.Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.Ability to work with a diverse population.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain court procedures to diverse individuals.Benefits:
