About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect and Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our Data and Analytics organization, you will play a critical role in building out enterprise data modeling frameworks, data automation foundations, tools, and new technology exploration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data engineering solutions using Azure technologies such as ADF, Databricks, and Synapse
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand data requirements and develop data models that meet their needs
  • Develop and maintain metadata management systems to ensure data governance and quality
  • Work with junior data engineers and offshore team members to mentor and guide them in their roles
  • Define and design best practices and frameworks for data engineering
  • Develop back-end data design for API environments and ensure data is served correctly to mobile applications
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in data architecture with expertise as a data or technical architect
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Expertise in data lakes and machine learning models
  • Experience with Azure design and development, including ADF, Databricks, and Synapse
  • Strong technical knowledge of Databricks and ADF
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries and joins
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
