Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing care and services to patients and their families, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and direct LPNs and other nursing staff, ensuring that they are providing high-quality care and services to patients.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to nursing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Hawaii.
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • One year of experience in a specialty area, such as operating room, emergency department, or intensive care unit.
  • Coursework in basic electrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation.
