About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our orthopedic department. As an Orthopedic Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care that meets the unique needs of each individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing care to patients with various orthopedic conditions, including fractures, joint replacements, and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take prompt action to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and compassion within the department, fostering open communication and teamwork among staff members.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working in an acute care setting, preferably in an orthopedic or related specialty.
  • Strong clinical skills, with expertise in assessing and managing complex patient conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team environment.
  • Current RN license in the state of Oregon and National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
