Job Summary
The Assembler I is a critical member of our production team, responsible for fabricating component parts and assembling finished products according to customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup and Preparation
- Complete work area setup and preparation to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Component Fabrication and Assembly
- Fabricate component parts according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Assemble finished products using hand tools and equipment.
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Report any quality issues or concerns to management.
- Housekeeping and Safety
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure equipment is safe to operate and report any maintenance issues.
- Record Keeping and Reporting
- Complete production records and reports as required.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No minimum experience required, but 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred.
- Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of basic math.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
