Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Geisinger Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital. As an Inpatient RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting a safe and supportive environment for our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, organize, and evaluate patient care to meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and conducting diagnostic studies.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary personnel, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based decision-making and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
- Actively participate in patient quality and safety education programs and other initiatives to improve departmental and organizational quality and safety.

Requirements- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support Certification and Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
