Job Summary

A skilled Registered Nurse is sought to provide exceptional patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves prescribing, delegating, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating patient teaching and the activities of ancillary nursing personnel, all while maintaining professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct and indirect patient care with compassion and expertise.
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
RequirementsEducation and Skills

A graduate of a State Board-accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.

Experience

Six months of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

A current RN license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas is mandatory.

Additional Requirements

American Heart Association BLS certification within two weeks of employment is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $ 70,000 - 90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Part-time work arrangements are available. Christus Health offers a range of benefits to support employees' physical, emotional, and financial well-being.
