Job Title: Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create personalized treatment plans for clients
  • Conduct ongoing documentation, including diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes, in accordance with company policy
  • Maintain a caseload of at least 25 client visits per week
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and collaborate with our dynamic team to further our mission of filling gaps in our community
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session, following company guidelines and protocol
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university, with licensure in the designated field
  • Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and teens
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficient in the use of typical office technology and Electronic Health Record systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fully licensed mental health professional with a valid state of Georgia license
  • Experience with couples and families
  • General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and mental health documentation

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
