Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Foam Fabrication Specialist to join our team at HSM Solutions. As a Bandsaw Machine Operator, you will be responsible for cutting and shaping various types of foam materials to meet our customers' specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the bandsaw machine to cut foam materials according to specifications provided by the production team.
  • Inspect and measure foam materials to ensure accuracy of cuts.
  • Keep the machine and work area clean and organized.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the machine to ensure its smooth operation.
  • Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate with the production team to ensure that materials are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot any issues with the bandsaw machine and report to the supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in foam cutting using a bandsaw machine.
  • Knowledge of different types of foam materials and their properties.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
