Key Responsibilities
  • Pharmaceutical Care: Provide customer-focused pharmaceutical care and ensure the prompt and accurate dispensing, processing, and recording of prescriptions according to prescription orders.
  • Medication Management: Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess, monitor, initiate, and modify medication use according to patient condition and age-specific criteria.
  • Customer Service: Provide consultation to patients regarding side effects, drug interactions, specific storage requirements, and directions for use.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain proficiency in operating pharmacy workflow management systems for point of sale, prescription order entry, patient profile review, or retrieval of clinical data.
  • Record Keeping: Preserve proper records relating to medication profiles, prescription files, controlled substances records, and other legal and departmental records and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Experience: Less than 2 years of experience as a pharmacist
  • Licenses and Certifications: Medication Therapy Services in MO, RPh
