We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Engineer to lead our multi-disciplinary transportation engineering projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, supporting the production of design plans, and serving as a trusted advisor to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver transportation engineering projects
  • Support the production of design plans, calculations, specifications, and permitting documents
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, acting as the main point of contact for the design team, contractor, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Provide technical quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC)
  • Oversee construction support services, including the review of submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Assist with business development activities and proposal writing
  • Contribute to the scheduling and management of project financials
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in roadway design and project management
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures, and design standards of state and local transportation agencies (MassDOT required)
  • Ability to manage a multidisciplinary team while managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, InRoads/OpenRoads Designer)
