About the Role
As a key member of our team, the Food Service Director will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our food service operations in a healthcare environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional customer service and high-quality food experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of food service, ensuring excellent customer service and maximizing revenue to support overall account operations.
- Develop and implement cost-saving measures to optimize food service operations.
- Staff and oversee the execution of on-site events, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional customer experiences.
- Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure customer service needs and expectations are fulfilled.
- Lead a team of food service professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, maintaining a clean and safe food service environment.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menu plans, ensuring alignment with customer preferences and dietary needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Food Service Director or equivalent role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or equivalent.
- Proven track record of success in food service operations, with experience in inventory management, purchasing, and cost control.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of food service professionals.
- Proficient in MS Office and other organizational computer tools.
- Flexible and adaptable to change, with a strong commitment to customer service and quality.
