Your Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement scalable backend services while addressing intricate software system challenges using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Lead high-impact projects that span the organization.
  • Engage in medium to large-scale initiatives by analyzing project requirements, translating them into technical solutions, developing code, conducting unit tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Supervise small teams of engineers, including remote associates, by providing technical guidance, architectural direction, and conducting design and code reviews.
  • Diagnose and resolve business and production issues by gathering relevant information, collaborating with support teams, and performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with over 9 years of experience in developing scalable applications.
  • Expertise in backend technologies such as Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST, and RPC.
  • Proficiency with modern unit testing frameworks.
  • Extensive experience in building Microservices.
  • Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong background in developing large-scale systems utilizing both private and public cloud technologies.
  • A deep understanding of architecture and data-driven development.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience in maintaining production applications.
  • A balanced approach to urgency and delivering high-quality, pragmatic solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with large codebases across cross-functional teams.
