Are you a skilled craftsman looking for a challenging role in the construction industry? As an Experienced Masonry Specialist at Ferguson Construction Company, you will play a key part in shaping our projects from foundation to completion.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $65,000 - $90,000 per annum. You will be working closely with our team to ensure that all aspects of concrete flatwork preparation, forming, and placement are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layouts and determine dimensions, shapes, designs, and materials required.
  • Organize, sequence, and perform assigned tasks within schedule to meet project deadlines.
  • Perform concrete flatwork preparation, forming, and placement, including placing concrete, slab on grade, and elevated decks using trucks, cranes, buckets, and/or pumps.
  • Saw cut control joints to ensure smooth finishes.
  • Maintain and repair cured concrete surfaces, including walls and slabs.
  • Apply curing compounds and sealers to protect and extend the life of concrete surfaces.
  • Operate necessary tools safely and efficiently.
  • Foster a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established safety rules and regulations.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans.
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, lifting heavy loads, and standing for long periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
