Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced food pantry staffed by volunteers and collaborate with colleagues to support the company's mission.
  • Train and supervise volunteers, coordinate pantry operations, and manage food stocking and distributions.
  • Work closely with Warehouse Associates to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of food donations.
  • Communicate effectively with Operations Directors, Case Managers, and staff to ensure seamless collaboration and goal achievement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pantry environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Receive and process food donations, ensuring accurate inventory management and record-keeping.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including food expiration tracking, temperature logs, and donation records.
  • Ensure the correct use of systems and equipment, and participate in special events as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with physical requirements including standing, moving, reaching, and bending.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
